This job is no longer accepting applications.

We're looking for Embedded Linux Developer's at various levels to join our global R&D team and help transform the rail industry by building and developing our communication and onboard data centre platforms.

You would join our Nomad Connect R&D team, responsible for the connectivity components that ensure passengers enjoy a seamless online experience while travelling on-board. We maintain and develop new and existing software components in Python and Java that run on Linux, both on embedded hardware on the trains and on virtual machines in the data centre.

We asked our current team why someone new would enjoy working here. They said "every day brings new challenges and new opportunities for learning. We spend a lot of time teaching each other to ensure the entire team knows and understands the complete solution."

You'll work closely with our teams in Belgium and the UK, so although our office is in Boortmeerbeek, you can choose to be office-based or home-based / remote in any of our European office locations, with occasional travel to our Belgium office as and when required.
