This is a remote role for now - we have people in France, Finland, Italy and the UK. We might decide to open a small office when possible with each person being able to choose if they wish to stay remote or not (or a mix of both).
Why we are looking for a tech lead to be part of the founding team now
In order to accomplish our vision, we want to build software tools for organisers and participants to be more autonomous and overall have a radically improved experience. This will be one of the key missions of the tech lead who will also be part of the founding team.
We have already run our first events in the past months for tens of companies (Karakuri, Didomi, Aircall & more) and for hundreds of participants - we are generating revenue, already have recurring customers and are seeing great traction. We are ready to go to the next phase of our development and invest more in building out our tech.
The founding tech lead will be in charge of building the application side from scratch, making key technical decisions on architecture, choosing the stack and establishing best practices implementation as well as help recruit/oversee the first tech hires.
What types of profile would be a good fit
Since the role is very versatile, we would like this person to have at minimum 5-10 years of experience and be confident over the full stack of the web with knowledge on how to set up a scalable infrastructure and architecture. In terms of specific skills, we would like to find someone who is:
- Comfortable with front-end development (particularly with modern frameworks like React) as well as on back-end engineering (from API design to infrastructure)
- Capable of starting from nothing, designing a technical architecture that meets customer needs
- Confident in being responsible for technical strategy and leading a team
Having experience building out B2B platforms/SaaS and having spent at least 2-3 years at a fast-growing European start-up/scale-up is a big, big plus.
